The rise of e-commerce, particularly during the pandemic times, also led to a big rise in ways malicious agents try to defraud both companies and their customers. In this talk, I'll go over different types of fraud that are particular to e-commerce and various machine learning applications one can use to stay ahead of the game, from simple models to graph neural networks.
Brenda has a PhD in Theoretical Physics and transitioned into data science in 2019. Since then, she’s been working in the fraud detection domain at Wayfair and is currently a senior machine learning scientist in the fraud/scam prevention team.
